Hello all,
Just joined today and liking what I am seeing.  I have been training for about a year under Sifu Hawkins Cheung, a direct deciple of Yip Man.  He is great!  I am looking for more practitioners in my area who would be willing to "compare notes" and such.  Though I love Wing Chun and think of it as my primary art, I have also trained in Karate, Boxing, and Muay Thai(which I think makes me a Mixed martial artist, but not in the MMA realm...not too much a fan...).  I live in the Los Angeles area.  Please dont hesitate to hit me up.  Looking forward to meeting moreof my wing chun brothers and sisters.   Wink

Yea, he is the man.  Trying to establish my own name though.  Too bad you are in Texas.  One would think that it would be easy to find wing chun guys here in LA...Alas...

Great.  If we can meet this week, that would be great.  By the way, I have all types for sparring and training equipment such as boxing gloves, hand wraps, leg protectors, chest guard etc.  and two pairs of each so if you were inclined to have a sparring session as well as discuss the arts, that would be fun.    Looking forward to meeting up with you.

Welcome to The Club

I have the RedOctane mat, too.  It stayed in the box for MONTHS, until I decided to break it out and put it together this past December.

Looking forward to seeing you on the mat
